HISTORY & QUALIFICATIONS

P. A. Geraci founded P.A. Geraci Travel, Inc. in Ft. Myers, Florida in 1959.  In 1976, Geraci Travel was purchased by the late Sanford Lawton, Jr., whose business background in management and marketing re-directed the company^’s goals. This reorganization led the way for Geraci Travel to become the largest volume leisure and corporate travel agency in Southwest Florida. Today, Geraci Travel is owned and operated by William Lawton.

Our agency has locations in South Fort Myers, and Cape Coral (2 locations), Florida. Geraci Travel was the first Lee County Travel Agency to enter into the use of automated reservation systems, automated back office accounting and then, in 1984, the development of the first strictly Corporate Travel Division in Southwest Florida. This department currently services the travel needs of over 550 large and small businesses both in our local area and across the nation.

Today, Geraci Travel’s annual volume exceeds $16 million, which places us among the top 2% of over 32,000 travel agencies across the nation.
